I realized today that I have a very well rounded life. I got to hula class early so I ran around this track. After class I registered for my summer grad school class and joined a soccer team. Today I have a work committee meeting then I'm going to spin. This weekend I have lunch planned with my friends and dinner with my family. I have a little bit of everything in my life.
Here is my dad at his garage with his oldest baby. We went for a drive all around South Jersey today. As we drove we looked for dunkin donuts' and dead skunks because they both seem to be all over.
The cd fairy must read my blog cause I got this in the mail today (and I didn't tell anyone about losing my first one).
I had to go to the board meeting at school tonight. I wasn't looking forward to going because I had to skip class to be there. It did leave me with 2 free hours in the middle of my day though so I guess it wasn't all bad.
I went somewhere where the people are friendly. When I left they said goodbye and used my name. When I got there the line was short. The people were helpful. They tried to save me money and complemented me. Guess where I was...
If you said "the DMV" then you win. Thats right! I hate going there cause they are rude and there are always a million people in so many lines. It usually lives up to its reputation. This time I went to a different one closer to my new house. It was like DMV paradise. I don't know if I should tell everyone I know or keep its location a secret so it stays line free. Maybe if your good I'll tell you where it is sometime.
Today was one of the first days this year that I could say was good. The kids were well behaved. The adults were well behaved. My lessons went well. I took my advisory class on a field trip to read to the preschoolers. They were so cute and a very nice change of pace. Then I came home at a reasonable time because I got everything I needed to do done. I realized as I was driving home that I was not stressed. It took until mid February but better late than never.
I had the most boring free day off. I had a doctors appointment, went for a walk with my mom, and had chinese food for dinner with my parents. It was a "no news is good news" kind of day.
Me and my mom went to the hot new burger place for lunch today. I read about this restaurant a couple months ago and I couldn't wait to try it. Its a Bobby Flay place where you can get any burger "crunchified" with chips on top. The whole place is all long big tables and everyone seats themselves bar style. But its sort of fancy inside. The atmosphere was a little weird but the burgers were very delicious.
The Backstreet Boys have a cd called Never Gone. It was in my cd player when I sold my car. My copy is definitely gone :-(
I went to dinner tonight with my parents. Thats rare for us to go out on a weeknight. Here is my mom at On the Border.
At work today we had a contest. We each had to make a valentine for a coworker. Whoever makes the best one wins a dress down day. This is the one I made. Happy Valentines Day!

If you guessed a Pontiac you win. This is my car. Me and my dad looked at it last weekend and I drove it. This weekend we went back so he could test drive it too. We decided it was perfect for me so we bought it. Turns out when you buy a car you come home with it that day. Who knew? So goodbye Sandy and hello Sonny.

Danielle hosted a pinterest party. The idea was that everyone could bring something they made from a pinterest recipe and chat and craft while eating it. I made these lady bug crackers.
I can tell how crazy my day is going to be by the amount of meals I have to pack. Thursday's this semester are 3 meal days. I have to make sure I have breakfast lunch and dinner with me when I leave the house in the morning. Today was a 3 meal day minus 2 meals. I have been so crazed and busy lately that I plain old forgot to make myself lunch. So this morning when I went to the fridge to get it and it wasn't there I was all thrown off. I bought lunch at school but I also forgot I had not packed dinner either. I had no time to get something during the day so I had to go to class without it. By the end I was starving. I ended up having McDonalds at 8:20. Hopefully by next week im back on my game so i don't have to do that again.
I decided to teach fun lessons whether the kids behave or not. This week we're learning about fractions. Multiple trips to the grocery store and many shopping bags later, I finally have all the supplies that we need. I hope they appreciate the activity.
Kate came with me on a road trip today to check out some cars. We ended up in Delaware and Pennsylvania.
