The Rules

While thinking about my year and goals, I came up with 3 simple rules when creating my bucket/30 list.
First, I did not put anything on the list that I have done before. Most years I make a New Years resolution and try to accomplish something. I also try to do the things I want to try. So I have a long list of things I have already done. I kept these previous accomplishments off of the new list.
Rule number 2: I did not include anything that depends on others, fate, or luck to accomplish. Some things that I want that I did not put on the list for this reason are meeting a celebrity and having a song written about me. While I still think they are cool things and I would love for them to happen, I do not have the power to make them happen. So they were removed from the list.
Lastly, I did not include anything unattainable. For example, I've always wanted to go to the Olympics. But since we can't turn back time and make me train to be the best in the world at something, we are going to have to accept that some things will never happen.

That's it! Plain and simple. Nothing already done, nothing out of my control, and nothing unattainable.  Anything else is fair game!
